On March 24th, 2011, Hao Peigang, the senior analyst of Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co. Ltd., said in “2011 China International Ni-Co Summit (The Awards Ceremony of the Most Competitive Ni-Co Enterprise): It is inevitable for the rapid development of domestic crude steel production capacity.. China is one of the most advantageous countries to develop stainless steel based on global resources distribution, the basic theory of “Comparative Advantage” as well as the largest stainless steel market. Hao Peigang also pointed out that this inevitable development trend was beneficial to the healthy development of global stainless steel industry as well as the value chain of global upstream and downstream stainless steel industry. He said that it was impossible for the domestic consumption and production of stainless steel to be always in the “Growth Stage” and show the momentum of rapid development. It will enter the “Mature Stage” in the end. The domestic consumption level of stainless steel is expected to enter the “Mature Stage” with relatively stable development instead of constantly rapid development in 3-5 years.
